ibis Southampton Centre 3 estrelas

One of the best hotels I have seen. It's awesome and the experience is great. I wish they have facilities that can help me to cook my own meals. It s very clean and children-friendly. The receptionist is very helpful.

Stayed at the property for 2 nights. It was kind of weird that all three hotels were next to each other (ie Ibis budget, Ibis and Novotel). The rooms were what was expected at an Ibis. Had a bath tun but would have preferred shower. Breakfast wasn't buffet so that wasn't so cool. Staff were OK. Hotel was a 5-min walk to shopping malls. Just an ok stay

Would highly recommend rooms are clean, tidy & staff are very friendly. Stayed here a couple of times now as it's on the doorstep to the docks for the cruise terminal's we needed for our holidays. I would like to make every1 aware that paying for your rooms, parking, bar etc they don't except cash everything has to be paid for with a card.

We stayed here one night prior to taking a cruise. In all honestly, for what you pay is pretty much alright, our room was only £45 and of course didn't expect anything fancy. Our main annoyance was being woken up quite early from maintenance insisting he needs to come into our bathroom to inspect a leak. I told him there was someone in the shower at the time and to pop back in 10mins or so. He was honestly so rude, didn't apologise for interrupting us so early just demanding that he needed to come into the bathroom. Very basic hotel but again, for £45 that's what you would expect. The reception staff were polite and friendly albeit a bit lack on information.

What can I say about my stay at the Ibis Southampton? Well the hotel itself is what you can expect from any hotel really. Not much to set it apart from any other in the area. Through I must mention that the beds were exceptionally comfortable and the rooms were kept to a very clean standard. The breakfast, that you pay extra for is well worth it, an unlimited spread of cooked and continental, yummy. But it wasn't any off this that made my stay worthwhile. The cherry on the top of this experience was the rather handsome receptionist who was very attentive throughout my stay. Lovely Bruno! Always so helpful and informative, definitely the kind of staff I like to see. I would happily stay every month if I knew he would be the one taking care of me. Just a shame he wasn't part of the room hehe I'm sure he could have made my stay a five star experience.
