The hotel is just next to the cathedral. The parking is overpriced, the breakfast is good and the bar offers good beers.

I have never seen such a tatty bunch of people managing a reception desk in all my travels, plus our booking in experience was a nightmare. Thankfully we had documentation to prove we had booked and paid. Such a pity as the location was great. Room and breakfast ok but basic. Apparently they only do bacon on alternative days. A major disturbance by other guests meant no sleep on our second night there. A guest was being attacked by two other people and yet when I enquired the next day I was told that none of them had been removed from the hotel. Shocking. I complained and I was told that other guests were asking for a refund and this would be looked into. Since returning home I have emailed the hotel twice and received no response. Shocking customer service.

This hotel has excellent location across the street from the cathedral. My single room was a good size and always immaculately clean. My room was in back portion of hotel which made my room very quiet. Breakfast was included with my rate and the breakfast was excellent with good selection. Staff was always friendly and helpful when needed. Definitely a very good stay.

We booked a transfer to the airport that was confirmed by an email from the hotel well before we arrived. We kept in constant contact with reception during the stay. However on the morning we were leaving the rude receptionist told us she knew nothing about it. We ended up having to get taxis at double the cost. Extremely poor customer service

Very friendly staff and very confortable rooms. Unfortunately for us it was raining and we had to have dinner and compared to the restaurant around the center of Ghent, the food has a lot to be desired. Breakfast however was ok.
