From the moment I arrived, the staff at this hotel provided excellent recommendations for exploring the city center, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was also quite good, and the room rate was reasonable given the quality of the accommodations. Check-in and check-out were both easy and hassle-free. Additionally, the hotel's location near the station made it convenient for traveling to and from the city center. Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

What a shame... NOVOTEL is off my list

This Hotel could have potential, yet the service is terrible. Especially the restaurant has clueless staff. On two different occasions we gave the hotel restaurant a chance for a dinner. We were a group of about 10 people. The first evening the waiter was rude and ignoring us, and eventually forgot two of ths dishes we had ordered. Eventually we had to cancel the salads, it turned out she hadnt even informed thr kitchen. The second evening again one dish was forgotten, so everyone got his food except one colleague. Not even an excuse! The burger was terrible for 20 euro and the beer insanely expensive 9.50 euro. The prices are like Dubai, but quality and service unacceptable. The hotel didnt like me, as i got a room on the second floor with a view on the pipes and exhaust of the hotel kitchen. Anyways the windows dont open fully. My floor carpet was wet when i arrived. Being a frequent traveller and Marriott Platinum member, i am convinced to avoid Novotel by any chance... Only stayed there because our company had booked. AVOID THIS HOTEL! breakfast was ok, except that you have you havw to hold on to your coffee and plate, so if you go for a second course, be sure when you are back everything is gone, even your full cup of coffee. Happened twice to my colleague.

i cale for a tradefair in RAI center. it is at 8 min walk. rooms are very small but very functionnal. the break fast is good. great service ( i lost the wifi and they sent a person to my room to fix it within 10 min which i really appreciated. the service in the restaurant was a disater ( had to ask 3 times for py beer and ater 25 min i fot...2...and the food was not what i ordered....) this being said the restaurant was full and these thing can happen when overloaded.

Dissapointing... much worse than last time...

I´d like to provide some feedback on my last stay, from Feb 26th to March 1st. 2nd time I´m on Novotel Amstedam City. Last time was about 5 years ago for a conference. My impressions : Room was good, I liked the renovation. TV could allow us to login on NetFlix/Amazon/HBO or connect devices through bluetooth, etc... that would help a lot. without it the big screen is useless... One issue with the room is that I woke up in the middle of the night with 5 bug bites... I was not able to find the bug, 3 days later I was still with allergy rashes... unnaceptable. Room service to be honest was a disaster... First Day I ordered a Burger... They didn´t bring salt/ketchup/mustard/ napkins.... 2nd day I ordered a beef/desert... No salt, no fork/knife/spoon/napkins... had to ask and when arrived, the beef was cold and to be honest not tasteful at all... 3rd day I asked for Ketchup and mustard with the meal and was not delivered.... I decided to try the lunch at the restaurant... very disappointing... the only "real" main course was the same hamburger I had the other day... really ? On a Novotel restaurant, no real food ? This stay was much worse then my first one... probably will not come back next time in AMS...
