Dear Mr. F., First and foremost thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam. While I am pleased to read that you enjoyed our hotel, our facilities, and that your airport transfer met your expectations, I was truly sorry to learn about your experience with the taxi during your stay. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience you encountered. We certainly understand how frustrating it must have been to feel that you were charged an unreasonable fare for such a short journey. Although taxis in Amsterdam operate independently from our hotel, we only wish for our guests to have positive experiences throughout their entire visit, and I regret that this was not the case. I was also sorry to learn that you experienced difficulties with the Wi-Fi connection. Your comments have been shared with the relevant team, as we continuously work to improve the comfort and convenience of our guests. Thank you once again for sharing your valuable feedback. I am pleased to read that you enjoyed our central location and found your stay comfortable, and we truly appreciate your kind words regarding our attentive service staff and doormen. At the same time, I would like to sincerely apologize for the shortcomings you experienced with the housekeeping service. Leaving key cards for another room in your accommodation and not properly preparing the room is certainly not acceptable and does not reflect our standards.
