Personnel was great but location is decaying fast and food was poor. We have been going 6 times and what a disappointment…

What a disappointment … we have been visiting 8 times this hotel and spa for the last 10 years and were always charmed by the beauty of the site and the kindness of the employees. both are still valid points but 1/ the hotel is decaying super fast 2/ the restaurant food is not home made, it is overcooked or dry ( no chef !!) and 3/ the spa is not worth anymore the experience ( 1 or 2 professional massage therapists in the midst of amateurs) , machines are past expiration limit or broken down! We understand this is end of life for this hotel as new owner / management is about to rebuild the place entirely. However, this is not an excuse as prices stayed the same !!!not sure we ll be back … unfortunately… sorry …

For two days the lift did not work, our room was on the top floor, my wife is a invalide which made the walk from the far lift of the hotel exhausting. We did not enjoy the Friday night buffet preferring table service, realising that this is only our preference.
