Simply hotel, but everything we needed

This hotel was exactly what we were expecting. The staff was kind and professional. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the storage area as soon as we walked in the room. It was good to have a space for umbrellas, shoes, and luggage. We didn't spend much time there The location was great. Near lots of public transport options, next to a convenience store, and walking distance to lots of restaurants. It was far enough to the outskirts of Mitte, pretty much in Prenzlauer Berg which made it quieter than we expected. We were especially grateful on our check-out day. We had a late flight out of Berlin. In addition to holding out bags in a secure space, they called a taxi to take us to the airport. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there in the future if we return to Berlin!

Complete Lack of Security and Indifferent Staff – Avoid This Hotel

I want to express my deep dissatisfaction with my stay at this hotel. We spent a weekend there with friends, but our experience was extremely unpleasant due to the irresponsible attitude of the hotel staff towards security and customer service. One evening, while sitting in the hotel lobby, we were listening to music through a small speaker. We stepped outside for a few minutes to smoke, and when we returned, the speaker was gone. We immediately approached the hotel staff for assistance, expecting some help, but were met with complete indifference. The staff did not even bother to check the security camera footage or take any action to investigate the incident. The following morning, we spoke with a senior staff member, but his attitude was just as dismissive – we were simply told that the hotel could not help. We did not expect such behavior from the staff, especially at a hotel that should prioritize the safety of its guests. If personal belongings can go missing here and the staff makes no effort to retrieve them, this hotel is clearly not a reliable place to stay. I strongly advise against staying here – both due to the lack of security and the completely indifferent customer service.

This hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to Alexanderplatz. There is also a tram stop 5 minutes away. The rooms are very basic and the bed was incredibly uncomfortably hard. This is definitely a no frills hotel. Breakfast we didn’t try. We felt we could get a better deal than 17euros per person which includes children. In the Alexa shopping mall at Alexanderplatz there is a McDonald’s, there is also a take away McDonald’s in the train station. Breakfast there was much cheaper!!! The hotel needs to spend more time on its cleaning schedule, cobwebs in the window!

Dear Thames, thank you for your review. Our healthy, fresh and delicious breakfast will be served on the first floor with a stunning view to the TV tower. It´s an "All you can eat and drink" buffet with a huge selection of cold and warm breakfast options. There´s a waffle station so you can bake the waffles on your own and put your favorite topping on top. For children the breakfast has a discount of 50%. Maybe you will try it next time. Great value family stay

Stayed in a family room which was spacious and comfortable for the four of us. The hotel was a 15 min walk or 2 stops on the tram from Alexanderplatz so we found it to be in a good location. We didn’t book breakfast but grabbed coffee and pastries from the next door garage. Would stay again if in Berlin.

We booked this hotel as we were arriving late so needed somewhere with 24/7 check-in and on a public transport route. It was a bit further away from Alexanderplatz than we had thought. We received a warm welcome (in English) despite being well past midnight. The room was very adequate for our three night stay. The only niggles were workmen/gardeners starting around 8am two of our three mornings that we could hear even on the top/7th floor. And the shower temperature went from very hot to very cold without touching any controls. We didn't eat or drink in the hotel, but purchased drinks, breakfast items and snacks from the adjacent petrol station. The nearest restaurant is Hofbrau on the same street, heading towards the TV Tower, which is a fun place to visit.
