The reception was crowded when we arrived with only one person at check in. I was with a group 8 work colleagues and arrived around 9pm to the hotel. After a long wait, I was checked in and told I was upgraded to a suite due to my status with Accor. Likewise another colleague. Then two of the team were checked in. The other four were told that due to the recent storms and some damaged rooms, they were being accommodated at the nearby Hilton and to wait!! Why on earth was t this communicated to us before arrival? The four of us with rooms went and all agreed how old the rooms were and how filthy they were. Behind the bed check which we all did, it appears no one had cleaned there for years. The rooms smelt. The suite was in desperate need of renovation and should at best be called a larger room! The bathroom prehistoric! After showering we were hungry and decided to eat at the restaurant in the hotel. It was closed! The only option an awful bar area with terrible and unedible food that should not be called food and service that does not command a service charge! There was also a prom happening with loud music everywhere and screaming young teenagers running havoc around the hotel. Again why wasn’t this communicated before? On the early morning check out the next day the only front desk staff member on duty really could not be bothered to do a thing! This hotel should be avoided at all costs!

Still have yet to receive my deposit back after checking out 5 days ago, when I should have never been asked for my card when the company paid for the room and we were staying at the hotel as a team.

I apologize if there was any miscommunication during your stay and wish we could have clarified this before your departure. Unfortunately the credit card provided by your team was contracted for the payment of the room only. Incidental charges were not covered by this card and we were instructed to collect it at check in. As common procedure, the hold on your card was released upon your check out of your room. This can take 5-7 business days for it to reflect back on your account. I have stayed many times at t. hotel and it was always g.. Not s. t. t.. Could not proceed with my booking on the Accor website and the price given to me by the hotel was much higher than the one on the Website. Long discussion. Same the following day because Information was not passed on. Some of the staff did not bother. Usually, bed is very comfortable. Again , not t. t.. Mattress seemed to be very used.
