The comments back from management on the hotel reviews are shocking. To say room options selected may not be available 1st night of arrival, or room may not be available at check in time due to it being cleaned and made to hotel standard is just ridiculous. Thats such a poor ex. Just appologise and say sorry. If people pay for a particular room or arrive at check in time the room should be available. Its what guests have paid for. If its not then just apologise. Don't try to justify it not being available. We wont return

I went here for a Work Christmas all inclusive party when we got there you weren’t allowed a double vodka but we’re allowed two singles. The food was brilliant. The disco was good but the bar staff we’re not friendly at all and not very helpful. I had quite a lot of vodka and didn’t feel drunk so I don’t know what they were doing to the bottles and it’s definitely not a four star hotel.

Afternoon tea for two vegetarians. We had a Virgin Experience Voucher and were unsure what to expect, but it was lovely. The sandwiches were very fresh, the cakes were good and the tea was Twinings English Breakfast, all served on white china. The reception staff and our waiter David were very helpful and pleasant and the whole experience was better than we expected. Sadly, while there was an event in another part of the hotel, the dining room was deserted and the ladies loo was in need of some attention ( I reported it to reception).

Woken up by cleaner /maintenance

Woken up at 08.20am by what appeared to be a cleaner. Said he’d knocked on the door of the wrong room. I was VERY tired and unwell and was looking forward to a lie-in. Surely , waking someone up at 8.20 is something that should not happen. I mentioned it to reception when I was passing later , but received no apology or explanation. Very poor on both counts . The rest of the staff were excellent and the hotel very nice

We have just got back from our stay and cannot be happier. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout. The room and facilities were very good, clean and well equipped, Tv, iron, hairdryer etc. We had an evening meal 3 courses which was well presented and very tasty! I would say the only slight disappointment was the starters which were a little small for the price. Breakfast was immense though! Continental, full English and a great selection of meats cheeses and cereals, probably one of the best I have had. We also used the leisure facilities which were clean and very pleasant. Pool was a good temperature as was the jacuzzi. We did have some children taking part in swimming lessons, however this was not an issue as the pool was sectioned off for them to swim. Overall a great experience Will deffinatly be back again.
