Novotel Wollongong has always been our preferred location for a short stay, especially after the extensive renovation the hotel went through. Whether dining at the restaurant or sitting in the North Bar, the food and service is always great. Rooms are clean and serviced every day. A room with an ocean view is breathtaking. Parking in the hotel is very convenient, however, $30 a day for parking is a bit stiff.

The asked me to pay up front during check in as they do not trust Accor members. Although the next day was a week day they refused to give me a late check out at 3pm. They lunch at the bar was very bad. Meet was burned and hard to eat

Please note that we did offer you a late check-out until 2pm, which is in line with our hotel's policy and availability. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused. As for your experience with the lunch at our bar, we sincerely apologize for falling short of your expectations. We strive to provide high-quality dining experiences for all our guests, and we regret that the quality of the meal did not meet your standards. Your feedback regarding the burnt meat will be shared with our culinary team for immediate improvement. Attended for a work conference with overnight stay. The hotel was very clean and aesthetically very pleasing. The room was very comfortable and very clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. The food and service in the Palisade Kitchen for dinner was excellent. The conference venue was well appointed with all that was required and was comfortable. The refreshments and lunch provided to our conference were excellent. I would recommend the Novotel at Wollongong.
