Distance to kyoto station a bit far with big luggages, about 8 to 10 mins walk, else no issues.

Generally, would appreciate wider spread of simple asian food. Distance wise from Kyoto station, personally is challenging for me especially cold night walking back. On the whole nice hotel and very friendly and pleasant hotel staff.

Pleasant and easy check in, the room and bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was fantastic. Only slight downside was an annoying buzzing noise, like an extractor fan going all night. That would not stop me wanting to stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with spacious room and great breakfast buffet. Had one upsetting experience though. A sign outside the restaurant indicated you could purchase a happy hour buffet. When we went in, we were informed it was only for privileged guests with tickets. We went to the front desk and were told the same thing. We were very upset and felt we were not ‘privileged.’ This marred our experience there

Although, it is one of the benefits for those who stay on the privilege floor, we do sell it to other guests for 3,300 yen. We are sorry for the misinformation and that you couldn't enjoy the service. We will immediately inform other staffs regarding this problem, and make sure it will not happen again by training them.
