A new, modern hotel at walking distance from the central train station. I honestly did not expect to find this in Charleroi. Great facilities... modern and spatious rooms (I was upgraded to a suite... it was really nice). Cosy and friendly atmosphere in the reception-bar-restaurant-lounge area on the 2nd floor. Basic but ok breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff at the reception.

Hard to find and room too warm

First off, if using google/Apple Maps, the map location does not align with the hotel - they are about 250m apart. Location on Accor app is confusing as well. Not what you want late at night in Charleroi. A local saw me looking confused and escorted me to the hotel - it's a common occurrence apparently. I was upgraded to a suite - very nice but it was by now 1130pm (as I had been looking for the hotel for 20 minutes) so I didn't get much benefit. The room was also very hot during the night despite having zircon set to 19C

I had a nice stay at Novotel Charleroi. The staff is very welcoming and warm. My room was sufficient for my needs. The only thing that I would’ve wanted was having a smart, so I could watch netflix/youtube. That’s maybe out of the employees capacity. But overall, my stay was great and I would visit again.
