I booked the wrong date. Marion responded when I called and emailed and changed the date to the next day, without quibble. There is secure parking on the premises with entry code; this facility is a major consideration for motorcycle trip planning. The location was pleasant and quiet.

My stay at the Ibis Styles Saumur was good. The room was comfortable and clean. However, the room was quite warm and the climate control was locked so I couldn't cool the room. I had to open the windows to provide cooling. Also, I understand that Silver members are supposed to be offered a welcome amenity / drink. This was not mentioned nor provided by the hotel front desk on check in.

Perfect location for car hire drop off and train station

We needed to drop off our car hire and get a train to Tours to get flight from Tours airport. Keys of car could be left at reception and train station is just opposite. Breakfast was included and was good so we were very happy with everything.
