I stayed overnight when flying outbid the airport the following day. The location was great and there's a free shuttle minibus. check in was super fast and the staff were very helpful. The lift wasn't working on arrival but was working when I tried it the following day. My first floor room was super clean and everything was laid out really neatly. Hats off to the cleaners for a great job! My room faced the airport and I could also see the bay to the right. There's nothing else around the whitepaper from Car parks and other hotels. So bear it in mind to plan your own entertainment, all TV channels were French speaking and none in any other language. I hoped of at least a news channel or two to be in English/American. The room was as you'd expect from this budget brand, it's basic, but clean and comfortable. Here there was no pool (unlike the Budget in Hyeres) but there is one at the ibis across the road, if you really wanted one, personally an extra €40 count be justified for having a pool. For my money Chevrolet shuttle, Wi-Fi in the rooms and breakfast was all included. I would have liked to have extended my check out by 2-3 hours but this was declined in the basis the hotel was full, but if I wanted to pay for another night then that could easily be accommodated. Huh! The hotel couldnt have been full in that case, but I wasn't going to pay for another night when I needed just 2-3 hours. This said, staff were happy to allow my to sit in the breakfast room instead to do my work, which was much appreciated. Would I stay here again if using Marseille Airport, yes but only if my flights necessitated staying in a close location.

I booked this hotel as I had an early flight the next morning. Check in was friendly and fast. After that it went down hill fast. Cleanliness of the room even for a budget hotel was below par. Dead mosquitoes all over the ceiling. General cleanliness could been better. Rooms are not sound proof. Shower drainage wasn’t working as it should. AC noisy and not cooling.

Arriving late, then leaving early next day meant an overnight stay and Ibis Hotel was a good, convenient and cost effective way to do just that. Room was too hot (but opening the window helped that) and after a good nights sleep and a nice simple breakfast we took the shuttle off to the train station which worked out well
