This is a good option for stay in Glasgow because of the central location. Room was fine though the window was facing a wall. Bathroom was average but worked. Everything seemed clean. Breakfast was also fine with sufficient choice.

Good location, rooms lack storage

We really enjoyed our short break in Glasgow and the Mecure Glasgow City Hotel is in a good location. However, the rooms lack storage space. Drawers or shelves are an essential requirement and the bathrooms lack shelf space too. Otherwise, the room was okay if a little cramped and, as I'm sure you know, could do with redecoration and new double-glazed windows as rooms on the road are quite noisy. The reception and breakfast area are very good though and all the staff were extremely welcoming, pleasant and efficient.
