The hotel is well located between the train station and the city centre, close to the cathedral. The staff was friendly and the room was very nicely appointed. It was an enjoyable stay.

I spent two nights at the hotel, the room I booked was really comfortable, fitting the description on the website, it was also perfectly clean. I arrived around 12 PM, three full hours before the check-in time, but as the room was ready, I could go there immediately and had the pleasure to refresh myself after a long train ride. It's was a very pleasant surprise. The room and the bathroom were great, apart maybe from some water pipes noise from surrounding rooms, but the real cherry on the pie is the staff: Everybody, and I mean everybody is smiling, available upon request, helpful and competent. From the reception to the ladies cleaning the rooms. I am also working in a customer service and I am fully aware that this quality of service doesn't come without constant effort and dedication. It was the first time I stayed in a Mercure hotel but let me tell you that it's not the last. You simply feel welcome and at home, and it's not a professional smile, it's a real warm smile.
