Noisy rooms. Bad service

Dant6817 Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

I got around midday, so a bit early for official check-in (which is at 2pm). They wouldn't let me check-in early even tho they admitted to have lots of rooms available. If I paid extra they'd allow it. Although this is by the book, most hotels will give you the room if they have it ready. It's common practice goodwill. The rooms are NOT sound-proofed in any way. You'll hear all the planes taking off, as well as your neighbours TV (which I had to complain about at 11:45pm and again when it woke me up at 5:30am. I suggest the Holiday In Express.

Convenient for an early flight

It's an Ibis, so not not 5*! But as always delivers the basics well. I was pleased that the window could be opened a bit to let in fresh air. Food that I had for dinner was adequate - the carne part of the chilli con carne was a bit sloppy and lacking in carne! Staff were friendly and obliging.

Never got there. Was phoning them for a day literally non stop as an emergency. Nobody picks up the phone. Tragic for a company this size to have no service. Phoned booking line and somebody picked up straight away. Couldn’t direct me but shows they will pick up phone to take your money but not to answer questions
