We stayed there during our visit at Avignon. We booked the last minute but thankfully there was availability. As a family of 4 with two kids in puberty, we needed a spacious room and we were really happy with the size of the one delivered. One thing to note: for families with kids, 2 double beds don't make much sense. Either provide 2 separate single beds or, a sofa with separate beds, not one double.

We arrived on Sunday evening around 8.30pm, no one was at the desk and another customer was already waiting, she went to the bar to find someone. We asked if we could book a table in the restaurant and were told yes but it was closing at 9pm. Once seated we were told only tapas was being served, we wanted something more substantial so we left. We went out of the side gate and walked to a restaurant on our return we could not get into the hotel grounds, we rang the buzzer on the pedestrian gate and for the car park entrance and no one answered, it was really cold and we waited and called for more than five minutes. Luckily for us my husband spotted that at the side of the car park gate building work was being done and a temporary fence had been put up that we managed to climb through, not ideal!! Once back in the hotel again the reception desk was unmanned. I had earlier asked for another towel and the receptionist said she would bring it up to the room, which she did, but she didn’t know when as she was on her own. Clearly another member of reception staff is needed.
