The room was amazing for the price. Great views of some of the city and west toward the sun setting over Mount Tambourine. Great value and wonderful check-in personnel. A very comfortable stay indeed and plenty of room to spare. Happy to go there again.

Came in wanting it love, left severely disappointed

Was so excited to book and stay here after seeing gorgeous photos and good reviews, unfortunately we all left severely disappointed. Firstly our call informing us room was ready was at 2:24pm when check in was meant to be at 2:00pm. Then initial impression upon entering the room was that it was dated and extremely unclean. After an hour of walking on the floor the bottom of our socks were black, especially the kids’. Not to mention that the kitchen floor was absolutely filthy with black sticky stains all over. There was lollies left in the cupboards from previous guests. There was no shampoo in the ensuite bathroom. There was hair and dust on the bathroom floor corners and amenities. The shower had mould in the silicone. Not to mention how awfully dusty it was underneath the beds and bedside tables, that we had to vacuum ourselves. The paintings on the walls were crooked and the kitchenware had grease stains. Main bathroom hairdryer wasn’t working. With regards to the hotel amenities, the steam sauna was out of action and then on the second day the whole indoor swimming pool area was closed completely. The only pros were: - Proximity and location to everything - Management allowed us to park two cars on site, which was appreciated. Came in wanting to love it and left so so disappointed. Upon check out the bloke didn’t even ask how our stay was, so it was clear the care factor was zero. Considering this is a Mantra, they’ve dropped the ball on this one. Avoid.

Unhygienic/Not maintained

Very very unclean and unhygienic apartment. Full of flies, mosquitoes and wasps. Apartments was full of brushed hair and dust. Electricity was faulty- Management is trying to blame us for damage to fridge which was existing prior to my stay. Would not recommend to anyone visiting

Great location, room had some issues

Easy to access with the car on arrival, and then just leave it in the car park. The location was fantastic, being able to walk to a cafe for breakfast, or the tram to head into Surfers Paradise, or across the bridge to Pacific Fair and even restaurants downstairs. The staff were super friendly and got us checked in and out without any fuss. The room was spacious and reasonably well appointed. Cleanliness was sub-par with the bathrooms lacking attention to detail such as soap stuck to the bench top and dusty wall tiles. The room boasted ocean views, however, very difficult to see through the dirty, hazy windows. The TV lacked any smart functionality and the wi-fi was intermittent and slow. The fridge had an error which resulted in loud beeping when the doors were opened. The issue was known as a label had been put on the door that pressing a button stops the beeping. Not ideal with sleeping children. There seemed to be a lot of noise at night from the road, even on the 20th floor. The pool was a pleasant temperature considering the time of you. Unfortunately the spa was out of service for a renovation. Overall a pleasant stay apart from those issues with the room.

We enjoyed our stay at Mantra apartments, clean and functional. Great location for convention at the star, beach and shopping. great amenities/restaurants around for what we needed. Fabulous view and the staff were very helpful for anything we needed.
