The historical tour of Raffles Hotel Singapore was one of the highlights of our visit to Singapore. Resident Historian Nazir Yusuf was welcoming and very well-prepared, sharing stories and insights that filled our imaginations, weaving a tapestry of background that informed and inspired our delightful stay at the hotel.

Raffles hotel is truly captivating and beautiful. Door service and concierge was warm, friendly and helpful with gorgeous enthusiasm to accommodate our requests for photos. Rooms were delightful and luxurious with yummy treats everyday. Butler service 10/10. Unfortunately breakfast was chaotic. Wait was long and even for plates! Food quality dropped compared to previous visits. No water even served. Truly disappointing. On checking out , took a while to even get our luggage collected. As we were in a rush we had to drag our bags up the stairs to the elevator. Truly disappointing

As a way to introduce 3 teenagers to elegance, quality service and a delightful setting, nothing could be better than The High Tea at Raffles. We were welcomed warmly, and the whole experience lived up to our highest expectations with any request being met cheerfully and instantly.

Skip the Long Bar - book the Writer’s Bar before dinner at the Tiffin Room

Skip the Long Bar - expect queues of hot tourists at any time. Tried the Courtyard but no fans, so too hot and uncomfortable. The Writer’s Bar is fabulous but small so definitely book ahead (we were lucky to get one of the two tables available for walk-ins). The cocktail experience was superb and the staff very helpful with changing our booking at the Tiffin Room. Dinner at the Tiffin Room was a highlight of the holiday. Mashid looked after us wonderfully- offering a detailed knowledge of Indian cuisine in addition to great service- a superb and memorable experience.

The best staycation in Singapore! It was memorable and unforgettable.

We were pick up and dropped back to the airport by hotel transport facility which is the Luxury Toyota Alphard. When we arrived at the hotel, we were met and greeted at the lobby by GM and some managers on duty. The check in process was done at the room only. Our room was upgraded to 2 bedroom suite with private balcony, it was huge and spacious with excellent setting and facility. Some welcome fruits, welcome chocolates, welcome drinks and snacks were provided (and they replaced those everyday). They also gave us some traditional cake on our 2nd and 3rd day. Minibar in the room was complimentary except alcohol. We were so grateful and honored to experienced the excellent services and hospitality from the 1st Raffles Hotel in the world. Thank you everyone at Raffles Hotel Singapore who already made our staycation memorable and unforgettable.
