Holiday in the Sofitel!

Good evening to the Sofitel-team on the Palm in Dubai! My name is Christian Demian and I was in the hotel from the 19.09-30.09.24 with my girlfriend Christine(room 2212) and our friends Bodo and Christel Engel(room 1199)in Your hotel! The largness of the room was enough, but the the quality of the furniture was not 5 stars niveau! But the teams in this hotel are World Champions!!! Starting with the reception, it-specialists, concierge like NELSON, ADEL, roomcleaning like miss WINNIE, Chef of the kitchen MEERAJ with his incredible Team, service-team with MANOJ, AJITH, SHANEL, PRAKASH, DIPA, AGNES and all the rest of these beautifull people, the housetaxidriver LUKUMANUL HAKEEM, deserve to be named, because these persons keep the hotel alive with their generotosity, kindness, empathy and warmness! A great and from the deepest point of our hearts THANK YOU, and all the best for all of You, because You all are the heart and the soul of this hotel! It was for as 4 an honor to meet and to get perfectly betreated by You! These relations I will miss, but I am thankfull of meeting all of You, and hope that the most of the tourists and guests give and show You the respect You diserve for Your work and kindness! May god protect all of You and all Your families whereever the are or live! Lots of greetings and the deepest respect for You send with pleasure by Christian and the other 3 of us! Hope to se You soon again, to have the pleasure to talk to You and find You well! Have a good bye, send and onestly wished from Christel, Bodo, Christine and Christian!

Had a great stay, food and service exceptional especially enjoyed our meal at Laguna beach lounge once again great service with great staff Than was stand out as our waiter 5 star service.

Great hotel, great service. Especially Mangal and Lil did a great job! The hotel is perfect for a couples trip. It’s calm, nice and the food is the best. The restaurants are very classy and do great food. We will definitely come again to Dubai and to this hotel !

Staff are friendly, welcoming and love kids. We are staying in a one bedroom apartment which is spacious and has all the amenities you could need. We did have to move rooms as the first one was noisy as the one bedroom apartments are located near the lift and our room was damp and made our clothes smell. The hotel itself feels dated and the rooms require an iPod to use the Bose systems! The kids pool is a good size, nice and quiet, shaded, sallow and has a little park and indoor play areas. There is a good choice of restaurants but half board is limited to the “Dine Around” menu which is limited. Allergens are well labeled on the menus, but be warned as when we tried to order the dairy free options we were told at every restaurant so far (steakhouse, Indian and Asian) they had dairy in which is making an already limited menu very stressful at meal times trying to find something to eat for me and my son. Dubai is great for convenience, taxis with child seats, busy and every shop you can think of. However, it lacks the luxurious blue seas -the sea smells odd and looks dull. We personally prefer the luxurious feel of Mauritius or Jamaica where the seas are inviting, the hotels we have stayed in are more luxurious and there’s more life and soul. The hotel has no entertainment, not even a musician or something classy for ambience and all the bars shut super early.

Enjoyed a lovely meal at Zoya, our waiter Navdeep Daya was very helpful and showed us a great time. The food was tasty. I had the fish curry, butter naan and the jeera rice. Service was quick and they took care to ask if we needed anything else. Great experience
