Stay was good due to location and surrounding. Breakfast can be improved with more fresh fruits and bakery items which can help persons like me who prefers vegetarian food.

The price for my last stay was way to high.

As a business stay is ok, room is comfortable and the amenities are enough, but I'm disappointed with the service and care. First day I arrived I noticed the toilet paper was almost ending from the previous guest. Next day I finish it and go to work thinking house keeping would take care of it. They didn't. I went to the reception (I was going to leave for dinner) and told them this and they asked ME to take toilet paper from the reception to my room because house keeping had already left... as a costumer I find this very strange and lazy from the hotel staff. This created an unnecessarily scene where I had to stand my ground (that this shouldn't be my responsibility) and another girl in the reception came forward and voluntered to go herself to my room leave the tp - this made me feel uncomfortable as a guest, I shouldn't have to be confrontational on a hotel and let staff know how they should be servicing. Also on my check-out I was packing during the morning and house keeping knocked on my door and I told the lady I was packing for checkout so they could come later - this was ok. Same thing happened for the minibar refill and I told the same thing... here the guy asked how long I would take - again, I find this very uninviting and distracting. The checkout is as 12h. It was 10.30/11h - if the guest has until then to make the check out they shouldn't feel as a nuisance for the staff. I was trying to relax a bit after an intense week of work in another country and preparing for the airport proceedings that are stressful enough. Overall I feel like there is a minimum care the staff should have with hotel guest and I feel like when it comes to service, people on this hotel don't seam to have the posture of friendliness or helpfulness.

Dear Ms. F., I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the problems regarding the house-keeping and the behaviour of the staff. That is unacceptable and below our standards. Please rest assured that I will take steps - and within my team I will make sure that negative experiences are a rare exception in the future. I feel very bad for the inconveniences you had to deal with - and at the same time I do appreciate your feedback, which is an important component toward long lasting and continuously improving quality services. I definitely do appreciate the fact that you took the time to review your stay at Mercure Hotel Stuttgart City Center. Now I would like to ask you to give us another chance.
