Extremely Poor Food & Cleanliness.

I live locally and often pop in for a drink and something to eat. Unfortunately the food has gone massively down hill especially as the prices are pretty high. The tables are constantly covered with empty glasses and left over food which the Bush Turkeys love. Tables must be cleaned immediately and the standard of food needs to be addressed. Locals will stop using the place unless standards are improved.

From check in to check out, our experience was great. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and the kids wished it was longer. We stayed in a lagoon view room with amazing views and wild life outside your door. The pool area was stunning with plenty of space. The complimentary hotel activities were great. Keep you and the kids busy the whole day. You don’t need to leave the resort for days. The hotel’s setting and location are beautiful and well maintained. The room was comfortable for a family of 4 ( kids 7 and 10). Our stay was Monday - Thursday. I would stay again if in the area.

The resort is absolutely beautiful especially the pool, beach and lake, but we found a majority of the staff were quite rude and overworked. This resort isn’t run very well and has the potential to be so much better for guests. The beach and pool area is their saviour everything else is run very poorly. We checked in at 3pm and check in is from 2pm and we still had to wait for our room to be ready. I think the management of this resort needs some guidance to make this place more entertaining for guests and maybe employ extra staff.

Pool, lake and fake beach are lovely. We loved the walk around the lake and to the beach. It is located in such a peaceful surrounding. It was amazing to see kangaroos hanging around on the grass. Good buffet breakfast and convenient restaurant/bar on site. However, the property seems run down, the gardens were not well kept and rooms don’t have very good sound proof. Hope they will have had some renovations or facelift next time we’re back.

Hot water tap exceeded 60° and burnt out toddler, nobody answered the phone to help us

The bathroom hot taps have no tempering valve, this is illegal and means scolding hot water comes out. Our two year old while in the bath with us standing right there turned the hot tap on, which sprayed scolding hot water all over her. She screamed and we tested the water and it was burning hot coming out well over the legal 60° temperature, I tried calling every extension for the resort to try and get first aid but nobody picked up. It is NOT NORMAL for a bath tap to spew out scolding hot water and at such a speed it burnt our toddler, and then the icing on the cake was the inability to seek medical help.
