Es war alles perfekt. Auch die Lage des Hotels. Das einzige was nicht gut war, war das Personal an der Reception (sehr unfreundlich leider).

Overall, I am concerned that this room might not meet the regulations required by the relevant decrees in France for hotel room accessibility I list the following failures: 1) Bathroom – No chair. For the first night a small stool was provided . The stook was too small and too low for transfer of my mother from the wheelchair to the stool 2) Bathroom - Garden chair. After complaining about the small stool, a steel garden chair was provided. While this resolved the size and transfer problem, the distance from the wall (with the rail) to the chair forced the glass door to open. This meant the bathroom was covered with water after a shower. 3) Bathroom – Floor of shower – The shower floor is not anti-slip material. So after a shower, it became extremely slippery and does not allow for a person with restricted mobility to leave the shower alone. 4) Bathroom - Floor of shower – The shower floor sloped in towards the centre. This makes a wide area of the floor, sloped at a small gradient. This does not allow for a person with restricted mobility to balance herself. 5) Bathroom – Moveable shower wall – If this is opened to allow for easy access to the shower, the bathroom will be covered with water. 6) Bathroom – Not enough support railings – On top of the slippery and sloping floor, there is not sufficient hand rails in the shower. There is a small hand rail near the shower but no where else. 7) Bathroom – there is a towel rack that is placed at eye height that obstructs entry and exit into the shower when the shower wall is closed. 8) Toilet – Left hand support at the toilet. My mother is paralysed on the right side, so she needs support on her left side. As you can see, there is no support on the left side of the toilet. This made the toilet very hard to use without help. 9) Room – The space for the wheelchair is tight . A wheelchair will not be able to turn around on the right side or the bottom of the bed. 10) Breakfast Area – The breakfast area in the basement of the building does not allow for comfortable access for a person sitting in a wheelchair. If all tables and chairs are in use, a person in the a wheelchair would not be able to enter / exit freely.

When you raised your concerns during your stay, our team provided alternative seating solutions to make the shower experience more comfortable. I truly regret that these adjustments still did not provide the ease and independence you were looking for. Please know that we take your feedback very seriously, and I will personally review each point you have raised with our team and with our suppliers to explore possible enhancements.
