Convenient location opposite Spencer St Station. Hotel does appear dated and needs a refresh. We were upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment which was nice. The most frustrating aspect of this hotel were the lifts. We could not use with the 5 of us at any point as at all times it came up with an overload message so needed to go up in groups

I booked 2 rooms for a party of 7 through the reservations system & initially spoke to Bitang & a follow up conversation with Laura. Bitang & Laura were incredibly welcoming, warm & helpful. When we arrived 2 months later the staff again gave us a warm welcome at reception (Prad) to a seamless support from the entire staff, every interaction was met with professionalism, kindness, & genuine care. Our rooms were clean, comfortable & very liveable. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a enjoyable getaway. Thankyou, again to Bitang, Laura & Prad.

This "4-star" hotel has small rooms with no microwave (and no, you can't use one downstairs). We tried to address this with staff on the night. Two of the lifts don't work with your key card. The photos are not the standard room. For $200 a night, stay somewhere else.

This was my first visit to Australia and I was not disappointed. The staff at Batman’s Hill on Collin’s was professional, accommodating and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and well stocked. It was within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping.

Great location!! Lovely hotel and service! Honoured Platinum status in Accor. Booked red hot rooms so didn’t expect any upgrades but was given a spacious room on the 2nd floor. I actually liked that the room was near the lifts as I heard no noise from that. There was some lovely chocolates in the room - complimentary from hotel. The breakfast was also complimentary w status. The breakfast had hot and cold food. The staff was mostly attentive, there was a period where no one manned the check in reception, I had to make a phone call to the hotel to get someone there. Although there was a phone in the room, there’s no information on which number to dial for assistance. Anyway, it is 8 to the reception n everything else. Housekeeping was dependant on the duty person, beds were always beautifully made but one of the days, they did not even change the wet face towel, nor cleared the waste bin. The hotel was comfy and convenient to Southern Cross Station (spans a few streets!). You can leave your bags there till it’s time to depart. I would stay again for a 3 star price point. I am sure it will improve and achieve its 4 star status in the future.
