We stayed your hotel on Nov. 6th because my husband has to go St.Paul hospital at 6 am for the surgery on 7th. The front desk lady ( young, tall, dark hair)let us check in the room before the time, and very helpful. We really appreciate her hospitality. Thank you so much.

It was a nice stay. Room was clean, but we could hear everything from neighbour ´s room wall. People at the front dest were very friendly and helpful. But breakfast was a little disappoinment( just few thing from wich u can choose). But overall it was good stay.

Unfortunately the loud restaurant music ruined an otherwise nice experience. Soundproofing needs work! It’s in a convenient central area that’s walkable to many shops and restaurants. Be warned as there are many homeless on one side but since I’m originally from Vancouver I was used to this. Bellman helped carry my luggage in which was great. Rooms are a bit small, but clean and had cool little details. They upgraded me to a room with a mini fridge which was nice. There is no main ceiling light, only the bedside lamps, making it slightly dark. The heating system is so loud and made it hard to sleep, so I turned it off. I only turned on the heat but sounded like the AC fan was blasting. The blankets were a bit thin, but the bed itself was comfortable. I did love the Skoah soap in the bathrooms - very refreshing minty feeling. They text you to check if there’s anything you need, which was a nice touch. One issue is that the music from the restaurant/bar that is part of the hotel is SO LOUD. There’s a noise policy noted in the elevator saying guests need to keep it down from 10pm-7am so I was surprised that the music from the hotel itself would be so loud. This made it incredibly hard to sleep, even with ear plugs. I called front desk to tell them and they said they can inform the restaurant, but I could still hear it and feel the bass pounding. The soundproofing overall wasn’t great, I could hear someone’s phone alarm going off in the other room nonstop and it was driving me crazy. I would’ve considered staying here again but the loud music until the early AM really was a deal breaker. I understand it’s the entertainment area, but a hotel with a noise policy shouldn’t be so loud and/or should have better soundproofing to accommodate their guests. I told the front desk lady when checking out and she said she will let management know, but I was not quite satisfied with her response as it didn’t really make up for my poor sleep and it felt like she was just dismissing me by saying management will take over this concern. It didn’t feel like she went above and beyond to solve the problem and she did nothing to make me feel valued as a customer. For the price, I would expect a better night’s sleep.
