If you are given room 301 ask for a change before leaving reception. The fridge is not working at all. They have placed a wet towel on the lower level of the fridge. The aircon also does not cool the room. When the sun goes down open the windows. There are stains on the curtain and one of the couch cushions. Not up to the usual Mercure standards I have previously stayed at

Terrible! Cheap, not enough staff and they never answered the phone. When staff were available they were friendly and provide good customer service. Room service probably would not have come if I didn’t go down and get it after an hour and a half. My first room (which I got changed) was filthy, bed sheets had not been changed and smelled like cologne, the carpet had crumbs and rotten tomato seeds in it, the sofa had suspicious stains, the shower had mould, broken tiles near the toilet, broken glass near the toilet, and the tiles were not mopped or clean. The new room appeared better until I went for a shower and realised it had not been cleaned and there was still a dirty shower cap in there as well as a hair tye on the shampoo. The sofa was not much better. There is no fresh drinking water offered. In a good location and close to everything. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone at all.

Lovely helpful staff. Late booking after our original hotel in gold coast over booked and left us without accommodation. They were very so helpful easy to find and nice rooms and good price. Plenty of parking.

Lovely friendly and attentive staff and rooms were very clean with great facilities. Easy access to the hotel and ample parking. Short walk to Garden City which has some great eateries We had a great stay Thankyou.

This place is tired and cold. There is no heating in the rooms. When I called reception to report the aircon not heating they advised the system needed to be replaced and they were aware it didn’t work. This was across the whole hotel so they couldn’t move me to another room. They gave me a noisy portable fan heater instead. The extra blanket I asked for to put in the bed had brown stains on it. The hot water in the bathroom is barely warm. I showered with only the hot tap turned on and was cold when I got out. I ordered a pizza via room service but it was undercooked and soggy. Their food menu is very limited and you can’t get a glass of wine - only a whole bottle. This hotel really isn’t up to the standards that I expect for Mercure. It belongs to a budget group instead. The staff were friendly enough and tried to help. It’s conveniently located in the Brisbane suburbs if you want to avoid the city, but it would have been nicer to stay at a better hotel in the city.
