Am an Accor plus diamond member with benefits of breakfast and room upgrades. Lovely treat , nice room, friendly staff. I’d come here again. In city and ok to walk around at night although it’s quiet and I was on alert as it seemed like local drunks out not your usual foot traffic.

Mövenpick Auckland is so much better.

When we arrived in a taxi at the front door of the hotel, we struggled with two children and all our baggage up to the reception desk before the porter, who was leaning against the baggage trolley asked if he could help. The food in the restaurant was ok, but didn’t compare to our expectations based on other Mövenpick stays. When staying with Mövenpick previously, we felt like staff were jumping out at us to help, offer the kids icecream, greet us and ask what we had done for the day and suggest activities or restaurants to try next. At the Hobart hotel, we felt we were interrupting the staff, who once interrupted were very pleasant but it lacked the genuine hospitality we’ve enjoyed in other Mövenpick stays. The lady who was on night duty was the notable exception. She was every bit the genuine, warm, host we’ve come to associate with this brand.

messy, vacuum cleaner was left on the hallway. missing refill amenities everyday. upgraded room was not offered despite being a gold member

I cannot fault this amazing Hotel, hence returning whenever I’m able to. The fabulous staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure I feel welcome and my stay is enjoyable, especially with finer details, they genuinely care. The Hotel itself is located in the heart of Hobart CBD and rooms are excellent. Chocolate Hour every afternoon provides a delicious treat that tops off the whole wonderful experience of staying at this Hotel. A big bonus is the Italian restaurant Tesoro’s, also with great staff and amazing food.

Bed was really good with a great view over down to the water. Positioned really well to having constitution dock minutes away and all the facilities being in the middle of the city offers
