L’hôtel est relativement récent. J’ai adoré ma chambre située au 22 étage, offrant une belle vue sur la baie VICTORIA.

L’établissement bénéficie d’un emplacement exceptionnel au cœur de Kowloon / TST, à quelques mètres du métro. Quartier très animé, entouré de commerces, bars et restaurants. Chambre au design assumé, avec une vue remarquable sur le port, tout comme le toit-terrasse (rooftop) qui offre un panorama spectaculaire sur Hong Kong. En revanche, le rapport qualité-prix est clairement en dessous des attentes pour un hôtel affiché dans cette catégorie. La volonté d’instaurer une atmosphère décontractée (casual) ne doit pas conduire à une forme d’indifférence. Le stress très perceptible à la réception donne l’impression que le client n’est plus qu’un dossier (case) à traiter, tant à l’arrivée qu’au départ. Une approche étonnamment distante pour un établissement de ce niveau. La réception, au design marquant mais très réduite, engendre une gestion complexe des arrivées et départs, accentuée par des ascenseurs insuffisants aux heures de pointe, contrainte structurelle difficile à ignorer. Dans la chambre, l’espace est restreint mais compréhensible compte tenu de la localisation. En revanche, la conception de la douche doit être revue en priorité : fuites d’eau systématiques rendant la salle d’eau dangereusement glissante, nécessitant de nombreuses serviettes supplémentaires simplement pour éviter un incident. En résumé : localisation idéale pour les amateurs d’une vie urbaine dense, vue sur le port véritablement remarquable, mais expérience globale en nette demi-teinte. Nous avons finalement choisi de nous rapatrier au Aki, plus en adéquation avec nos attentes. Établissement à fort potentiel, mais qui nécessite des corrections concrètes sur les facilités en chambre et sur la gestion de la clientèle. À ce stade, il s’apparente davantage à un 04 étoiles ++ porté par sa vue et son emplacement, qu’à un 05 étoiles en termes de service et de confort opérationnel. --- The hotel benefits from an exceptional location in the heart of Kowloon / TST, just a few meters from the MTR station. Very lively neighborhood, surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. The room features a strong design identity, with a remarkable view over the harbour, as does the rooftop which offers a truly spectacular panorama of Hong Kong. However, the value for money falls clearly below expectations for a hotel presented in this category. While a relaxed (casual) atmosphere can be appreciated, it should not translate into a sense of detachment. The very noticeable stress at the front desk gives the impression that the guest becomes nothing more than a file or a case to process, both at check-in and check-out. Surprisingly distant approach for this level of hospitality. The reception area, visually striking yet extremely reduced in size, creates operational complexity during peak arrival and departure times, further challenged by the insufficient number of elevators, a structural limitation that cannot be overlooked. Inside the room, the space is limited but understandable considering the location. However, the shower design urgently requires review: persistent water leakage turning the bathroom floor into a slippery zone, forcing the use of multiple towels simply to prevent an accident. In short: ideal location for those seeking an intense urban environment, truly impressive harbour view, but an overall experience that remains uneven. We eventually moved to the Aki, which aligned better with our expectations. A property with strong potential, but requiring concrete improvements regarding in-room facilities and guest management. At this stage, it is more accurately positioned as a high 04-star (04*++) for its view and location, rather than a true 05-star in terms of service and operational comfort.
