Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay at Mercure Vung Tau. We seriously acknowledge your concerns and apologize for the discomfort caused by these service and soundproofing issues. Regarding the soundproofing and room change: We regret that the sound insulation in both your initial room and the new room with a connecting door did not provide the quiet environment you expected. Connecting rooms naturally have a higher potential for sound transfer, and we apologize that the disturbance from the neighboring television disrupted your sleep despite your calls to reception. Your feedback has been passed to our Maintenance team to inspect the sealing of the connecting doors to improve sound insulation. Regarding Housekeeping timing: We sincerely apologize for the disturbance at 8:30 a.m. We have retrained our floor attendants to strictly check for "Do Not Disturb" signs and ensure a more appropriate service schedule. Regarding the ice cubes charge: We would like to clarify that according to the resort's standard policy, ice cubes requested for in-room consumption via Room Service do incur a nominal service fee. Regarding the ashtray request: To maintain a fresh environment and comply with safety regulations, smoking is strictly prohibited inside all guest rooms. While ashtrays are provided in designated outdoor public areas and hallways, we do not supply them for in-room or balcony use to prevent smoke from drifting into neighboring rooms. We appreciate your constructive feedback as it helps us identify areas for operational improvement. Dear Value Guest, Thank you for choosing Mercure Vung Tau and for sharing your feedback with us. ​Regarding the room location, we would like to share that our resort is uniquely designed and divided into two distinct sections. To help our guests easily select their preferred location, we always display the room category names explicitly as "Hillside - Across the Street" on all booking platforms. We regret if this information was not fully clear during your reservation process, resulting in an inconvenient walk across the road to access our beachside facilities and swimming pool. ​Furthermore, we would like to highlight that Mercure Vung Tau is proud to be one of the rare resorts in the center of the city that owns a private beach for our guests to enjoy. However, due to natural seasonal currents and daily high tides in Vung Tau, the beach area can occasionally be submerged or narrowed, making it temporarily inaccessible for a walk or swim. We regret that this natural occurrence impacted your experience during your stay. ​We truly appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us manage expectations and continuously improve our guest communication.
