Our stay this time was acceptable, with a few hiccups. One of the first things we noticed was a rather unusual stain on the ceiling, which wasn’t discovered until late into our stay. There was an excessive amount of ice in the freezer, and we were surprised to find a leftover empty Chardonnay box from the previous guest. Nicole, one of the staff members, was very kind and promptly replaced the stained towels with fresh ones and sprayed the bathroom to address some odors I had noticed, which was much appreciated. On a positive note, we enjoyed our breakfast at the hotel cafe. The food was tasty, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We hoped the issues mentioned could be addressed for future guests.

Excellent hotel. Clean and modern room. Very comfortable bed. Lovely staff from, check in through to the restaurant. Good food in the restaurant, for dinner, bit of a limited menu. Supermarket and few other shops close by, can be walked to.

Worst Hotel Restaurant. The breakfast is so poor, staff are yelling and arguing with each other, rude to customers and continually blaming management for removing the breakfast buffet. After waiting half an hour for my order and noticing other people receive and finish their same meal, i asked after mine. The chef yelled out tell him it’s not McDonalds. Dinner is just as in professional. The rooms are comfortable and amenities in line with what you pay for a Mercure.

Very Disappointing - Won't Return

I stayed at this hotel for work, for few nights (room 316), and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. There was a loud squeaking noise in the room that kept waking me up multiple times each night. It was a bit rainy and windy, but I believe the issue was/is structural which should be addressed. Despite the receptionist promising to change my room on the last night, this never happened. She failed to leave a note for the next shift, and the hotel was fully booked. Additionally, the housekeeping was not up to Accor's usual standard. On the first day, I found a used napkin and chocolate wrapper on the floor after returning from work, and to my surprise, it remained there for the next three days. There were also stains on three of the four tea cups in the room. This hotel might be fine for business travel due to its proximity to work, but I wouldn’t recommend it for leisure. As an Accor Plus Gold member, I expected much better, and I certainly won’t be returning.
