Good place for an overnight stay

We wanted somewhere close to the motorway to stay overnight to avoid an otherwise long journey. This hotel was well located, just off the A6. It has a restaurant: the selection is limited but fine for one night. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. We stayed in a room for people with mobility limitations on the ground floor. This was ideal for as as my wife is currently recovering from an operation. The room was surprisingly spacious, albeit the decor was a little strange. The price was very reasonable, so I would certainly use this hotel again.

Eenvoudig maar goed hotel. Zeer ruime badkamer. Ondanks nabijheid van drukke wegen stil op de kamer. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar goed. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Vriendelijke beantwoording telefoon toen wij een latere aankomst doorgaven. Gratis parkeren!

Mooie ruime kamers met grote smart tv. S'avonds lekker gegeten in de brasserie. Maar de volgende ochtend trok het op niks . De rekening van een andere kamer ( collega), werd bij mij op de kamer afgerekend, terwijl we dit uitdrukkelijk hadden gemeld. Onomkeerbaar zeiden ze , dus moest ik het gewoon bijbetalen . Het ontbijt zou om 7u zijn , maar toen we om 06u55 beneden kwamen zaten alle tafels vol , en was het ontbijt volledig op. Er was zelfs geen koffie . Er was een delegatie uit Spanje ( of zoiets) , die voorrang hadden gekregen , en alles was dus op . Toen we hier een opmerking over maakte omdat we moesten vertrekken om 7u30. Zeiden ze nog wel dat het in orde zou komen . Maar zelfs om 7u30 was er geen ontbijt . We hebben hier natuurlijk wel voor betaald. De service trok op niks door personeelstekort. Hier komen we niet meer terug .

The room we were given was one for people with a disability, which meant it was very spacious. The decor was nice, the beds comfortable, although a little soft. The bathroom was also spacious and had everything a disabled person would need. It didn't bother us we were staying in this room. We didn't have breakfast but had a coffee which was good. Because this room is on the ground floor just behind reception and next to the breakfast room we did experience noise. There is a 24-hour coffee and tea making facility in the breakfast room which is great. However, when we were staying, there were people in there even in the middle of the night, as we could hear the chairs being used (scraping sound which was very audible in our room). That got worse when breakfast service really started in the morning. It made sleeping a little challenging. We would stay here again, but would definitely ask for a room on a higher floor and further away from the breakfast room. Check in and out was quick and easy and staff were friendly.

We booked this hotel to be close to the Floriad event. Really helpful staff, room ticked all the boxes, good shower big bed . Good breakfast with a fair selection and we were surprised by the quality of the evening meals.
