The experience at the hotel was less than expected. First there is no bell boy to support with the luggage. Then there was no electricity for about 45 minutes where the phone, internet, and elevators were not working. The breakfast is below average. The rooms (especially the bathrooms) are not very clean. The telephone in my room wasn’t working for the whole stay despite constant reminders to the staff that it needs fixing. The staff was nice but couldn’t help much.

Room service was not available…we had to change the room after 1st night…hygiene needs to be maintained lack of staff. In addition to this, one day our car was blocked for an hour in parking lot by some hotel maintainence staff and there was no help available.

At Mercure, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. All the product propose on the breakfast are made on the same day. We regret that you did not enjoy it and that the staff attitude wasn't correct. Concerning the parking, it wasn't blocked by someone from the hotel. The receptionist tried to find the person who blocked your car but it was a guest who was doing a seminar. He forgot to move his car after unloading his goods because he was injured by a bottle and needed treatment by our staff. The hotel was fully booked, but they were able to give me a room at short notice. Nice little touches for gold status and friendly efficient service as always.

We were there on business from USA . We will stay with you again . It would be nice if you could add wash cloths .. they are very small towels you use in shower … Thank you again !

Located in a nicely restored monastery the hotel has a good feel, with a modern and attractive lobby. We had a good sized room on the third floor, with a queen size bed and a rather hard mattress. Coffee corner, no slippers no bathrobes. The hotel has an exit on the river boardwalk, makes a nice 20 minutes walk to the city center. Gated paying parking, partly underground, 4 charging points. Breakfast is served in the authentic monastery hall.
