The hotel rooms were excellent and made the stay very enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and well organised, with everything needed for a comfortable visit. The bed was very comfortable, which made it easy to relax and sleep well each night. The room was quiet, nicely decorated, and felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything fresh and tidy throughout the stay.

Nice hotel on the river front and in town center with car park Ideal for attending function at Corn Exchange Bedford Staff were very friendly and view from 8th floor was great We stayed for now night and as time was limited we eat at the hotel. Our stay over Christmas at the Mercure Bedford was nothing short of exceptional. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated lobby, the room was very clean and I appreciated the extra amenities and 24/7 concierge service. We were given a room with a beautiful view of the nearby river which was a treat to wake up to in the morning. Additionally, we appreciated the extra towels, coffee machine and snacks provided in the room. The food at the restaurant was top quality, for dinner we tried the ribs, chicken wings and nachos which tasted fresh and very flavourful, accompanied by a selection of cocktails - my personal favourite being the Cherry Sour! Breakfast was on the top floor overlooking the river and consisted of a variety of hot and continental breakfast options, being refilled promptly and staff always happy to help and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely come back and I recommend this hotel as your go to if you're visiting the area.
