Our stay over Christmas at the Mercure Bedford was nothing short of exceptional. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated lobby, the room was very clean and I appreciated the extra amenities and 24/7 concierge service. We were given a room with a beautiful view of the nearby river which was a treat to wake up to in the morning. Additionally, we appreciated the extra towels, coffee machine and snacks provided in the room. The food at the restaurant was top quality, for dinner we tried the ribs, chicken wings and nachos which tasted fresh and very flavourful, accompanied by a selection of cocktails - my personal favourite being the Cherry Sour! Breakfast was on the top floor overlooking the river and consisted of a variety of hot and continental breakfast options, being refilled promptly and staff always happy to help and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely come back and I recommend this hotel as your go to if you're visiting the area.

Excellent service . I enjoyed a lot . Romantic atmosphere. Neat and clean rooms. Good food. Love it. I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, which made my stay very pleasant. The staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to help. The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere and is in a convenient location. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.
