An absolutely unexpected delight! My room was clean, well positioned away from noise, fitted out with a beautifully comfortable queen size bed and an amazing rainfall shower. Breakfast this morning was served in lavish surroundings, everything was hot and tempting. The perfect stop off on the way home from holiday. Thank you Accor :)

Hotel is showing its age; unfriendly staff; cheap amenities

We stayed here for 3 nights during October. The rooms in the hotel show their age. The carpet are badly stained and are in need of a deep cleaning and upgrade. All the amenities provided feel very cheap. They give you the cheapest thinnest ply possible for toilet paper and personal hygiene products. No hair conditioner and no body lotion. The towels feel rough on skin. The gym is locked and you need to approach the front desk to ask for a key. I tried to avoid the front desk staff as they were very unfriendly so I just skipped the gym. Skip this hotel; there are better ones in town.

First of all the staff are very friendly so thank you ,also the bedroom and bathroom was very nice no complaints at all thank you to everyone at this hotel The breakfast was amazing

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mercure Milton Keynes. A special thanks to Monique at reception who made us feel genuinely welcome; she went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional — nothing was ever too much trouble. Every member of staff I met was friendly and professional, the facilities were very comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We found the bed to be comfortable and the room quite pleasant. A good shower, but on the second day we were only given one bath towel. Room service hadn't made bed so not really sure why towels were even changed as we were staying a second night. We'd paid for breakfast which was really good and freshly cooked, although a buffet. I was disappointed that there were only sachets of instant Nescafe and no real coffee as machine was broken on both mornings I would have expected cafetieres to have been provided at least.
