After a bit of a mix up at check-in our room was spacious and clean. It was a warm weekend but we could not open our windows so we had to rely on the air con system. We did not have our robes in the room but a quick order on the hotel app and a lovely man bought them to the room and apologised. We have used this hotel a few times now and the best thing is the restaurant. Great choice of food and drinks. The staff are lovely. All in all a great hotel - you just need to ask for things that should be in the room but are not.

Room tidy and clean, staff friendly and helpful. In particular the lady on Reception who remembered me (I'm so sorry I don't know her name but I am the one with the car problems!) . Also a massive shout out to Misha in the bar, who makes the most amazing Manhattan cocktails! He was great! Both of these staff demonstrate excellent customer service, going the extra mile. The only slight down spot was breakfast - no bacon 2 out of 3 days, and no yoghurt

Reception was unattended for ages, We were tired and waited with another guest for ages!! Checking in too took ages!! Charges for parking were ridiculously high so unjustified considering what we had already paid for the very basic tiny room!!!

Not for coeliac guests! Not for guests with large luggage.

Rooms very small, no wardrobe or stand to put luggage, very difficult for overseas visitors. Not recommended for coeliac customers as the chef and waiting staff were unaware of what products contained gluten. I was presented with an allergen folder to look for myself. No gluten free station for cereal or toaster for self service. Eggs were cold and no bacon on second day. Gym opens fairly late, 6:30am, would prefer earlier especially when trying to adjust to a new time zone.

Single room, with a double bed, perfectly adequate for a single traveller. There is plenty of (chargeable) parking on-site bu the city centre is a short bus ride with stops near the hotel. Breakfast is buffet-style and perfectly adequate and the dinner menu is extensive, but (as expected at a hotel) slightly on the expensive side. However the food is good and "service with a smile".
