We had an excellent stay here, staff were so friendly and the room was great. We left an item on the room by accident and Peter very kindly located it for us over the phone and helped to arrange a collection for it to be sent to us by Royal Mail. Thank you so much!

It was an alright experience but I do have some complaints we asked for starters and got all the food at once , next after wait about 20 ish minutes we asked for a table to be cleared and get desert but we got are drinks taken away as well which we had sent finished and just bought . The service was not as good as it could of been .

Came for an overnight stop-over. Check-in queue was 15-20 mins to start. Also hit with the £12 parking fee. Hmm… When got to room, it seemed fine (modern, clean) but safe didn’t work (battery failed) and there was a cheap electric heater in the room! What?!? Felt a bit basic for a 4* and made temperature regulation challenging. Went straight to the pool area. Changing room was disgusting, broken lockers, leaking air-con, generally beyond needing repair, dirty, smelly. Pool, sauna, steam room ok, but hot tub not filled or working. Really disappointing as came here for this. Not advertised as not in use. Tried to get room service via QR code. No burgers or pizza available. Really?? These are staples! Tried the messaging app to check, no response. Went to the restaurant/bar, few people having drink. Tried to find some staff, no one around. At 6pm on a Friday? Gave up in the end and went to the local pub. To be fair, slept ok. Bed a bit soft and pillows could have been plumper, but given that the hotel is on a main road, it was relatively quiet. Blackout curtains were also pretty good, which was an essential as I had a bright light outside my window. The rain shower head was lovely, but there were clearly plumbing issues as it didn’t drain quickly and started flooding the floor. Light in bathroom also flickered/faulty. There were also quite a few stains on the carpets/walls which were a bit off putting. Breakfast was fair, bacon quite dry/tasteless, but the rest ok and a fair selection. Popped into the city in the morning. Only about a 30min walk so really convenient. Check out was 12, but keys stopped working at 11 (according to house keeping). Bit of a surprise when returning to my room and trying to get back in. When checking out, mentioned the hot tub and my disappointment. Was told ‘it should be working soon’. Totally missed the point and my mild complaint. Would I stay again? Probably not. An OK experience, but lots of little issues that put me off and need attention. Not a 4* experience.

Excellent service by Peter on reception when I checked in on 29/1/26 Breakfast was amazing Breakfast was lovely Sauna gym jacuzzi were brilliant I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Nottingham Spacious parking with plenty of space

Poor hotel, overcharged for unexpected car parking fee and staff require training.

Poor welcome at reception. Hit with an immediate car parking fee of £12, no warning when making the booking. Booked a superior room, walked in and it was freezing. Made cup of tea and put heating on, it didn’t come on. On arrival they said just scan a qr code if there were any issues. Did this but no response. Went to reception and was told they have a heating issue(didn’t say anything on check in) the receptionist was more concerned if the room had been ‘used’ as he wanted to resell it!! He said he would try and move us or give us a heater, I did notice two heater inner the receptionist desk. After a while he gave us another room which had heating we moved into that. Dinner time, went to the restaurant, and although the dining area was not even a third full, we were told they could seat and serve us for another 30 minutes - I have diabetes and need food then, so we walked out and went across the road to another restaurant. Bed uncomfortable and the pillows were so thin, did support our heads at all. Didn’t stay for breakfast, just wanted to get out of there! On check out, very impersonal, no question like ‘was everything ok?’ Nothing. Not a good experience.
