Mercure Birmingham West is a solid, reputable hotel, but what really makes the stay stand out is the genuinely warm and helpful service. The front-desk staff - with specific emphasis on Mairita - go above and beyond, answering questions with efficiency, and giving the whole place a welcoming feel.

Rooms weren’t the best, shower was very dodgy (hot/cold) as well but overall staff was great other than grumpy uncle in the bar !

I came to study on a two week course. Venue is very smart and clean, and the food provided was tasty and fresh each day. All of the staff are very polite, but Mairita at the reception desk was always so polite, so helpful and greeted me each day with a huge smile! She really stood out from the crowd with her positive attitude!
