Please know that this is not the level of service we strive to provide. You booked a One Bedroom Apartment, and we did provide the correct room type as reserved. However, we understand that the bedding configuration in the bedroom did not meet your expectations. Our apartments come with varying setups — some with double beds, others with twin beds — and while we do our best to accommodate specific preferences, we regret that due to high demand that weekend and the popularity of your chosen room type, we were unable to allocate a One Bedroom Apartment with a double bed. At checkout, our team member extended a sincere apology and offered a discount for your next stay — an offer you kindly accepted and which was confirmed by email. Additionally, we offered complimentary drinks and snacks as a gesture of goodwill, which you chose to decline — a choice we fully respect. Please rest assured there was no intention to cause offense. Our goal was to make amends and offer solutions under the circumstances, even if they didn’t fully resolve your frustration. Our team made every effort to support you during your stay. We deeply regret that your experience did not meet expectations. Guest satisfaction is our top priority, and your feedback is important in helping us improve. Wouldn't Revisit. Poor Service from Linda.

Dear Sylvia, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all guest comments seriously, as they help us improve. However, after reviewing the events you described, we must address several inaccuracies and clarification during your stay. When you arrived at 10am, Linda welcomed you and informed we do not have any rooms ready at that time, but she asked about your room preferences. As you didn’t specify any particular requirements, she prioritised assigning you a mid-floor room to ensure you could settle in as soon as possible. Later, after you checked in at 2pm, you called to request a room change. We invited you to come to the desk so we could assist further. Initially, you asked for a larger apartment instead of the studio you had booked, which we explained was not possible due to the hotel being fully booked that evening. The conversation then became tense, and our Front Office manager stepped in after hearing raised voices. We are committed to maintaining a respectful environment for both guests and staff, and we regret that the situation escalated in this way. It was during the conversation that we understood your concern was being near the bin room. Our bin room is centrally located in the hallway to ensure easy access for all guests. Ultimately, we found another studio room closer to the middle of the hallway, which you agreed was more comfortable. You then came down to collect the new key, which Linda personally handed to you along with an apology for any earlier miscommunication. However, at this point, you refused to engage with Linda and demanded a written apology from her, which we believe was unwarranted given the circumstances. At no point was Linda aggressive or unprofessional. We want to address your claim that Linda was “sleeping in the hotel.” This is entirely false. Linda was working an early shift that week, starting at 6:30 am, which is why you saw her in the morning. Additionally, your suggestion that staff helped themselves to the breakfast buffet while guests waited is untrue. Our reception team occasionally assists the breakfast team in the breakfast area during busy periods, especially when new staff are being trained, but they do not eat in front of guests or prioritise themselves over our guests. As a gesture of goodwill and to ensure your stay was as pleasant as possible, we offered complimentary breakfast during your stay as well as welcome drinks. These gestures were made in good faith to address your concerns and provide you with a positive experience despite the initial challenges. We also want to clarify that our multilingual team uses different languages to assist guests when language barriers arise. This is done to provide better service, and we can assure you that the level of care and professionalism remains the same regardless of the language spoken. It’s also important to highlight that Linda is one of our most highly praised team members. If you take a look at reviews on TripAdvisor or other booking platforms, you’ll see her name mentioned repeatedly by guests who commend her for her exceptional customer service. Linda consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a positive experience, and we are proud to have her as part of our team. Finally, we must address your threats of social media exposure and the false accusations made against our staff. While we welcome constructive feedback and are always open to improving, we cannot and will not tolerate any form of abuse—verbal, physical, or otherwise—towards our team members with false claim. Our staff work tirelessly to ensure all guests have a positive experience, and we stand firmly by their professionalism and dedication. We understand that your stay did not meet your expectations.
