Hotel short walk from train station located in China Town. Red and Black interior very student like. Asked for a quiet room which we received. Walls very thin room warm no air conditioning, comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff breakfast OK plenty to fill up on.

I had a great stay here. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful. The hotel was extremely clean. I enjoy the closeness to the train station and the Bullring market/Mall. There’s plenty of restaurants around.

Great central location and right in the China Quarter. Good bars and restaurants within walking distance. Room was adequate in size but was clean. We parked our car in the car park opposite which was fine. Would stay here again.

I stayed for 3 nights while exhibiting at the Classic Car show at the NEC and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room, the breakfasts and the staff. I wish I could remember names but all the staff I encountered went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

When we arrived to check in we were told that their internet had gone down and they were manually allocating rooms to people. My daughter and I were given our room keys and we headed to our room. Imagine my surprise when I open the door to our room and startled a young lady who was lounging on the bed. I apologised profusely and explained that we had just been allocated their room. I was told it had happened to them too. When I went back down to reception there were other people in the queue waiting to get reallocated rooms as they too had walked into occupied rooms. This is totally unacceptable. To be fair the staff tried their best and they were very polite but the incident made me uneasy. The room was very basic and bland. I was woken at 3am by drunk people outside screaming and shouting. Whilst I do feel the staff did their best, I will not be returning.
