I have stayed at the Novotel Wolverhampton over many years on family visits, the last time in December 2019. before the lock-down. This time was different due to Covid 19. The service in the bar and restaurant was good. The check-in was also good with temperature checked, the track and trace completed it was a walk in booking which was fine even though I could not remember my card PIN. The room was good no upgrade as no accessories in the room only paper cups, no Nespresso machine or bathrobes but the rates were much lower and understandable. Dinner was OK the menu was reduced the mains were a reduced choice, but the burger and chips were too many. Breakfast was a buffet served by the chef, who had to open the milk cartons. It all took a bit of getting used to. Check out was OK, except the dinner bill was not itemsided but was given a menu to cross check. It was good to be back.

Wykładzina w pokojach była brudna i poplamione, łazienki były brudne, nie działała karta do pokoju, obsługa nie miła, był popsuty pilot do telewizora, lampka w lodówce migała, przez przeszklone drzwiczki

Room to satisfaction - receptionist took into account my preferences when allocating room. Good breakfast. Overall a good two night stay at good location within reach of all amenities reach of all amenities

Love this Hotel great comfy modern rooms great staff. The restaurant and bar area are both very nice serving good food a beer. The hotel is ideally situated for all forms of transport and all Wolverhampton as to offer.

we stayed for 3 nights over xmas so accept breakfast would be a little different but the first morning it was horrendous brought out on a plate watery scrambled egg, tough bacon etc, it improved a little for the subsequent days as the buffet returned but still not so good as it should be. also fore some reason we was only left one bath towel on the last two days and the towels are too thin to dry yourself properly. reception staff noted our complaints

Excellent journey there swift check in as it was Christmas eve so not busy at all. Room adequate but well used could do with a make over not worth the money paid overnight but committed so had to grin and bear it. Breakfast was great nothing cooked as hardly anyone staying but could order it if required girl waiting on breakfast magic could adopt her if she wanted to

I stayed for 3 days and housekeeping did not clean my house once, I asked for my room to be cleaned and no one came which is disappointing. The cooked breakfast was not very nice edible but not great, bed was Comfortable. The bathroom needs renovating and the toilet.

Never stayed at Novotel before but was better value than others nearby Nice clean hotel although the beds are very firm,not good if you are not used to a firm mattress so not the best sleep ever. Also toilet seat was loose and he toilet was separate from shower so not convenient But despite little gripes I would book again

Always a friendly welcome at this hotel. The staff will always go out of their way to be helpful. During out stay the hotel computer went down - but the staff carried on in a friendly, courteous and helpful way. Well done! Good food too.

Eugene Davern Novotel Wolverhampton Gold member No 3081033 …….. 4 Wednesday and Thursday 16 and 17 October 2019 The two of us booked a standard room online for the first night only on a BB basis On check in we were upgraded to an executive room number 245, by a very good blond lady. The room was very good and we liked the bathrobe. The housekeeping and room, toilet and bathroom were good. The coffee machine only dispensed hot water after inserting the coffee capsule. We were also pleased we could see our car in the car park through the window. We enjoyed the plate of petite fours and strawberry. We noticed only one of two lifts were not working and could see two repair persons were in attendance assisted by Emmanuelle Rhodes-Maquire (ERM). One lift was working also the last time we stayed. We chatted to Jackie Clarke who had helped us previously along with ERM with a parking problem and thanked her and to pass on our thanks, she asked one of the reception staff to remove a mark from the reception floor. We had dinner in the dinning room and were pleasantly surprised to be served by the same waitress who served us before and said she had been there four years. We used our two free drinks vouchers on two large glasses of house red which were very good, which went well with our tasty meal. Thursday morning, we enjoyed our breakfast and then checked out. Due to change of plan we arrived back Thursday night at the hotel as a walk-in guest and were relived to be able check in again and also receive an upgrade again to an executive room, number 246 ably assisted by Mazur on a BB basis for £11 cheaper than the night before. For some strange reason he was only able to issue us with one free drinks voucher, saying the system would only allow it. He was initially going to allocate us on the side wing of the hotel due to the noisy musical function next to bar, but managed to then put us in room 246 saying was two floors above the function. We used our one free drinks voucher on a small Australian Shiraz as there was no house wine available for a large glass of wine. When I got to our room, I saw on email that our booking was for one person which may explain why we only received one drinks voucher even though two of us booked in. We did On Friday morning 18 October 2019 there was only one PG tea bag the rest were flavoured which we do not like, the day before we had two, so I had an instant coffee. Later the coffee machine worked OK, but it had two milk capsule

stayed at this hotel rooms are very old and outdated air con unit 1970s..very bust at night due to an event so struggled to get as drink and food at the bar.staff friendly but not enough..car park charge of £5 which i feel is unfair if you are staying at the hotel

as usual - good, clean, nice and resonalby priced. Located very well in the city centre and also close to the exit if needed to go to either Birmingham or traveling north. will continue using this hotel in my next trips to Wolverhampton.

I didn't know it, but I had booked a great room, there was everything I needed for a relaxing overnight stay. The bed was huge and oh so very comfortable. There was lots of space for me and my friend to get ready for our day at the races. Will definitely stay again.

I was good to stay at hotel. I had little bad experience where I asked for a cup coffee at the morning. I think the lady I asked for a cup coffee, had responsibilities for meeting and conference section. I was told strictly that I can’t get this coffee. I just surprised that hotel serves both guests and people on meeting.

Have stayed on several occasions and never charged for parking but this time round they charged £5.00, not a lot but they inform me it has always been there and on there website. Please check to see if anyone can see it because i could not. No AC either

Pricey as I booked late and it was busy due to a Rod Stewart concert! Toilet seat had to be held up when having a wee! I hate that. Only 1 of 2 lifts working! Room was a little tired. Separate toilet and bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay here & found the staff extremely friendly and helpful-special mention to Josh in the bar. Accommodation was comfortable, parking easy and convenient and bar food was of a high quality.

Amazing hotel with friendly staff.Above all one of the cleanest hotels in town..hats off.location of hotel is so perfect that it is in close proximity to city centre.this was my 4th time staying at this hotel.every time they make sure the stay is of highest standards.i recommend this hotel anyone visiting Wolverhampton.
