as above, after attending a late afternoon into the evening extra inning softball game, we returned at nine to find the kitchen closed

Did not enjoy the hotel whatsoever. Manager did offer some refund but was a horrible experience. The rooftop tub is not private though its a private suite....not to mention handle on tub broken off and pliers on tub in case you actually wanted to use it

I prepaid for my room, which was a big mistake. The first night it was over 90 degrees in Durham, and my room had no AC. When I told the front desk, before a day of meetings, I returned to find an oscillating fan in my room. Fine. Then that night at 10 p.m. I received a call from the desk telling me I was given a $50 food credit - at 10 p.m. the night before I was to check out for an early flight. When I woke up the next morning there was no hot water in the shower. I turned the credit back in with my key card at check out. When I submitted receipts I realized I was charged even more for my room than a colleague who had a bigger room on a higher floor. Just not worth it.

The staff was nice and helpful, the biggest complaint is that the A/C in our room did not work and it was extremely stuffy.
