The convenience to downtown makes the hotel a good place to stay, although the comfort is lacking in certain areas.

Well located in downtown Durham, cool vibe with the art galleries, but the hallway walls and floors are beat up and kinda gross. Elevators also a bit dirty and rooms smell musty, mini fridges make loud noises, beds are hard, linens feel old and scratchy. The hotel is just in desperate need of a refresh. It’s time - please do it soon.

Could not sleep due to constant knocking and slamming of door next to us as well as loud TV noise and voices from next door patrons. Unable to sleep. There was also an issue with receiving our car from valet in the morning, causing us to run late for our flight.

The hotel is located conveniently in the city, with nearby access to restaurants and shops. I wish the check in area was more welcoming, it felt a bit cold and lacking. The room was clean and a nice setting, but it felt very dark (not much lighting). Overall a good stay, friendly staff, and great service.
