My family and I booked a room for the weekend through the reservation line. The representative told me about a promotion that included snacks, a plush toy etc. The day of our arrival I received an email asking if I was interested in an upgrade if available. When we got to the hotel the staff were unaware of the promotion or the emails offering up grade. Fine…..we were only in town for the weekend and gave the staff the benefit of the doubt. Upon checkout I showed a staff member the emails and she followed up with me via email the following week and apologized for the confusion and assured me that the kids items would be mailed to us. We requested a baby crib in our reservation and one was provided in clean, good condition. The hotel room was basically clean. When we check in we noticed the lack of washcloths. We called down and requested washcloths and they were sent up. The next day when our room was cleaned the washcloths were not replaced. We called down TWICE and they never came. We booked a room that sleeps 4, there should be a minimum of 4 washcloths! Just annoying. I will say that housekeeping staff were pleased when we would run into them in the hallway. They also provided two complimentary bottles of water that can be refilled in the lobby. My husband was impressed by the ice machine that has “the good kind” of ice. The museum was beautiful! My family enjoyed walking around and seeing the exhibits. The staff were friendly overall. Elevators were tiny. Mini fridge barely got cold. Overall, we were satisfied with our last minute booking and would stay again.

Comfortable room.

Comfortable bed, excellent shower, very fussy coffee maker, though tasty. Lighting in the room was a bit strange. Personnel were friendly.I would say our stay was mostly positive, though the lobby was crowded, busy, and just not a relaxing respite from the crowds outside.

Dirty, run down, terrible customer service, valet poorly staffed, no bell hop, one elevator broken.

I’ve stayed at a few other 21c properties and this was by far the worst. The rooms were very run down and small. The gym was spooky and had broken and damaged equipment. There was no ventalization in the room (damp towels that were hung never dried out). There was a smell of pot at all times, there were homeless people in the restaurant. The valet was understaffed so there were long waits. The customer service was poor. The bell hop could not help with bags. The elevators are tiny - there were long waits for the elevator. One elevator was broken which made the wait 20plus minutes for an elevator. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and at over $300 a night I feel completely ripped off. I will tell everyone I know - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Dear Andrea K., We sincerely apologize for the numerous issues you experienced during your stay. We regret the poor condition of your room, the gym, the lack of ventilation, and the smell. Additionally, we are sorry for the delays with valet service, the broken elevator, and the lack of bell hop assistance. As a gesture of goodwill, we have refunded one night of valet parking to your account. We value your feedback and are taking steps to address these concerns. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Sincerely, Onye
