The stay was nice until it was time to eat, the prices was outrageously high a simple breakfast was $116.00. For the price of a room there should have been a free continental or free breakfast, even the coffee you had to pay for.

We stayed in a Gold room for an extended weekend trip. The service and Gold Lounge were fantastic. The location is perfect for walking to all of the main shops and sites around the loop and Millennium Park, with many other sites just a quick Uber or Lyft away. Highly recommended.

The hotel lobel and exterior were great, the staff was great, but my room was not clean and felt and looked very run down.

The cleanliness issues you described, particularly the hairs on the pillows and the condition of the shower, are unacceptable and certainly not the experience we want our guests to have. I also understand your frustration given the value you expected from your stay.

Your hotel needs an update. The rooms are musty smelling, the door hinges are falling off a bit and your overall room is outdated.

Only complaint is that the coffee in room is evidently tied to the mini bar. That was never explained and we were hit with a big charge for daily use. The coffee and cups were never refreshed unless we asked. The bill showed “Evian water” which we never used.

The air conditioning in my room did not work so they sent a maintenance man with a fan and an air filter replacement! Of course I was flabbergasted by this! I have never had to use a fan during a hotel stay! So at 2 am I told them we can no longer stay in this room! They relocated us shortly thereafter. Horrible night. The only saving grace was the breakfast! It was some of the best I have had during a hotel stay.
