I sincerely appreciate your feedback as this helps me to reflect on our current service standard and look at ways to further improve our guest's experience in the future. However, I understand that your recent stay experience was not entirely to your expectation and acknowledge from your comment that you have experienced some shortcoming with the drainage in the bathroom, with a foul smell in the living room and had a misunderstanding with the sofa-bed. I sincerely empathize with your feelings and humbly apologize for such shortfalls. This is certainly not acceptable and in stark contrast with the hotel facilities and experience that our guests are used to from our resort. While I honestly do not have any excuses for the shortcomings, rest assured that I will personally follow-up the matters in the bathroom with our Director of Engineering to take the appropriate corrective measures to avoid such reoccurrence in the future. I trust this will ease your concerns and bring you comfort and reassurance that your feedback and experience matter to me. Pertaining to the Sofa Bed, I understand that your original booking was made through a third-party online travel agent, for a One-bedroom family suite for 2 adults, at the time of check-in, there were actually 4 guests, and as such, and as per the hotel policy, there was an additional charge for the additional guests. Kindly be advised that, at the time of booking, if the reservation was made for 4 guests, the additional charges would have been automatically included, and as such, no further charges would have applied. May I thank you for your kind understanding on this matter and I trust this would ease your concerns about the additional charges.
