I have stayed in Movenpick Hotels all over Europe and the Middle East, and I can only tell you that this hotel does not live up to the Movenpick brand. While the hotel appears new and modern, our group found the rooms, especially the bathrooms, to be well worn and not entirely functional. We also experienced the layout of the hotel as too big for the transportation provided. If you call for a ride to the restaurant or for help with your luggage, it may take sometime before a staff member responds. The restaurant buffet was at best average, but the food delivered to the bar was great.

This is the feedback I gave to the hotel already I checked in on Saturday, and was given the room in cluster 20. I got to the room and started unpacking, with the first wish to take shower afther 8 hours trip. And ...there were hairs in the bath. I started scanning the room and found out: - dead mosquito on one mirror - finger prints on the other mirror - dust every ever - one of the pillow cases was used - dirt on the switch I have to come back to the reception desk and ask for another room. The attandend changed my room. The service man took me to the room by car to cluster 12, but was so excited about driving it that we had the accident when he could not avoid meeting with the pavement and I had a black and blue on my knee. The new room. Cleaner. Thank you. The room is located on the upper floor. And I spent the sleepless first night because of the sounds on the roof. On the next day I had to apply to the reception desk again to fix it. In the evening the serviceman came and fixed it. Today (after two nights of silence) the sound is back. I will have to get back to the reception again. I have been staying here for 4 days already. Two days out of four the restaurant ran out of coffee. I mean that there was no coffee in the coffee table AT ALL. Fresh veggies: I managed to catch tomatoes and cucumbers once. Today I told to the kitchen cook about it. In 10 min there were still no veggies. I would understand if i come to breakfast at 10:30. But I come around 7-8 am, when I expect to get all menu that you offer. I gave the feedback to the restaurant manager. And he said to me "That's it? Ok"

I really felt spoiled, Mr. Abdullah Helmi was always a call away and never hesitated to give my room a pampering when I needed. The gym needs new equipment and some of the food could use improvement but otherwise 10/10
