Whenever I travel to Melbourne for work, I always choose The Sebel Apartments for my stay. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and Belinda, the manager, consistently makes me feel at home. The rooms are conveniently situated within walking distance of a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. The rooms are WIFI enabled and with smart TV's in the lounge and bedrooms it is a comfortable stay!

Never stay here! Stifling hot rooms with no temperature controls. Aircon not working. Noisy. Parking was a nightmare and expensive. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. No room service. Was charged $200 for smoking on balcony despite no knowledge that this was not allowed- for extra cleaning. More like as retribution. Very poor form. There was no trace of ash left.

Your attempt to discredit the team and the hotel due to yourself and your partner smoking in the room and being disgruntled at being charged an additional cleaning fee and to set up a TripAdvisor account specifically to write this review is a reflection of yourself To assist our guests with preparation for their stay. a pre-arrival email is sent to our guests with information in regards to our operations including details about smoking. This is also listed on the reg-card and in the hotel information located in the rooms. All our rooms have individual air-con units that have their own remote controls with fully adjustable temperature control. Our car park can be challenging, which is why we provide all our guests with a map and the team fully explains to our guests where our car spaces are located. I had a wonderful experience on my recent stay at the Sebel Moonee Ponds. Staff were professional and accommodating and even allowed me a 9 am check in due to a red eye flight in from Darwin. Room was really clean and bed extremely comfortable. Looking for to staying again in the near future ( already have a booking). Thanks Sebel for making my stay wonderful and a home away from home.

Absolutely Smashing

Location is great in the middle of shops and food places. Although no breakfast is served you do seem to get used to your morning wander to get some food and coffee. Staff is so accommodating and Belinda is truly a superstar. Yes the street can get a bit noisy at times especially during the weekend but small price to pay compared to what you get in return. Great in house and room facilities would definitely come back again. Thanks Team !

Good three day stay

My son & I attended the Melbourne Model Train Show/Expo. The hotel is modern, clean and generally very nice. Staff are also friendly. There are no breakfast options. I prefer to have a buffet in hotels I stay at due to my Accor membership. We went to a cafe across the street.

Hi Rossl54, Thank-you for your review and for returning to stay with us from 2023 for the same event. The hotel opened in Nov 2019 just before Covid with the restaurant not being able to fully operational until 2022. Whilst we haven't been able to open for breakfast there are many wonderful cafe's all within walking distance of the hotel. We do appreciate your feedback in regards to breakfast and to prepare our guests the team do send a pre-arrival email that explains our operations including the opening hours of our restaurant.
