We checked in on Christmas Day , the receptionist Ronnie was very imformotive and extremely helpful , our room was immaculate , tasteful and comfortable , Parking was not as difficult as some would imagine , the lifts equally were clean and worked efficiently , all in all we stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute , looking forward to checking in again next year Oh and big thanks to Stacy for getting new towels to our room

We stayed at this Sebel for 2 nights to visit friends. Its situated opposite a small shopping mall with a Coles and a block from the main shopping road of Moonee Ponds. Close to many small restaurants. And only a short train ride or uber ride to the centre of Melbourne. 25mins to Tullamarine airport. We stayed in a King Suite which had a reasonable amount of room. Seemed well priced for where it was

It was a lovely stay overall. The room was very comfortable, kitchen was well appointed with induction cooktop, good size fridge. The washer/dryer was great. Location was excellent - right in the middle of Moonee Ponds Central Only a few snags - car park entry a bit cumbersome (have to call reception then wait for them to buzz open the gate) - our room didn't have block out curtains in the living room for privacy at night - there was one air conditioner which was in the living room. It worked well but not powerful enough to cool the bedroom in 36 degree days.

I stay frequently at the Sebel Moonee Ponds and I can't fault it. The staff are always friendly and helpful and courteous which is most appreciated. I love the size of the rooms - they are much bigger than normal hotel rooms and I especially love how there is a couch to sit on and watch tv from rather than having to recline on the bed (there is also a tv in the bedroom). The bathrooms are always tidy with plenty of towels and there is a full kitchen in the room - very handy if you don't want to eat out. The close proximity to the shops is brilliant. You can just walk down the door and cross the road and there's everything there you need.

I have booked accommodation at The Sebel Moonee Ponds twice over the last couple of years. My parents had such a comfortable stay the first time that they requested to stay at The Sebel Moonee Ponds when they visited recently. The quality and the standard of the accommodation was the same as their first visit a few years ago which was very good. The hotel is maintained well and is clean and secure. But most importantly the staff who work there are extremely polite, friendly, and always happy to help. The Manager Belinda is such a lovely person and is always checks-in to make sure everything is ok and is very helpful. My parents really enjoyed their stay, and I have no doubt they would want to stay at the Sebel again when they next visit to Melbourne.
