Really lovely hotel, lovely and clean. Staff really welcoming, Lisa was so helpful, our friends had a problem but she soon sorted. All the staff in the restaurant where professional and a credit to the hotel. Would recommend.

Booked this weekend in February a party of six , we were put on three different floors then on the second night we were moved to another dining room quite a distance away (this break was to celebrate a ninetieth birthday and four of the party are over 87 )a long walk ! When we arrived at the room there were only single seats which were not acceptable ! So we were put in a side room , cold unfurnished undecorated Xmas tree small ineffective electric heater dirty broken chairs . When we got our starter it was cold and returned twice the third offering was not really hot but couldn’t be bothered changing it again ! Main course not very nice should have been pork loin was a cheap tough pork steak ! Our waitress Kesia was wonderful and did her best the same cannot be said for the other staff . The time is now 8.45 and evening meal should have been 7pm we still have not had our dessert . Poor Kesia has been run off her feet and is a credit to the hotel, not one senior member of staff has been sympathetic or pleasant or come back to see how we have enjoyed our meal , just leaving a junior to cope with our complaint

I just wanted to say that Nicky is the most friendly and approachable receptionist. She’s always there with a smile on her face, ready to help and greet everyone. She always makes a point of being kind and welcoming to guests staying at the hotel. I also want to say thank you for always cheering me up when I’m feeling stressed or low. She always checks in on me and makes sure I’m doing okay. The world needs more Nickys on reception and in customer service. Connor

A lovely hotel with very friendly guests! We were warmly welcomed by Ellise who kindly gave us a free upgrade. My partner and I had a relaxing spa treatment by Lucy and Lily which was lovely! We were also kindly looked after by Nicky throughout our experience, would recommend and definitely visit again!

Absolute awful place to stay & staff are full on liars! I would give 0 stars if it was an option. Stayed here as we had a wedding happening here. Room wasn't even ready for check in time at 3pm. Still wasn't ready at 5:30pm, and still wasn't ready at 6:45pm, so couldn't access our room until it was eventually time for bed. We was allocated a room at the complete opposite end of the hotel to our wedding party. Booked a double room, this wasn't given, we was given a twin with the beds pushed together. Breakfast was terrible, all the food was cold, and items that are usually available on a buffet completely missing. Staff didn't have a clue if they were coming or going in my opinion. My children both under the age of 5 was served pistachio ice cream with WHOLE nuts as part of the wedding meal, which should've been Mint Chocolate Chip, wasn't even made aware that the change was happening. Have since sent 3 emails complaining, head of reception lied and said this was responded to but it certainly was not. Both me and my mother have complained and by the looks of things they have a pre-written email they must send out to all complaints as we've received the exact same email! WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!!!!
