Stayed here for one night we arrived early so staff allowed us to leave our bags prior to check in. We checked in and our room was cold we couldn't work the heating bit the house keeping staff very helpful. Room was small but clean had everything we needed. We never had the best sleep as we were on the third floor and it was a windy night so the windows kept rattling so maybe would ask for a room on the 1st floor in future. We would stay here again. Location good also

If you’re a family don’t bother staying here. The noise from Biscuit Billy’s isn’t just a mild thud in the background, it’s like being front and centre at a concert. You can hear every word of every song from room 314. Sadly we had no idea until midnight when the music woke me up. Is Tuesday night!

Spent night with friend twin room 9 august. Beds really comfy fans were available on request as not all rooms had air con including one we were in. Lift is very small. Staff friendly breakfast was offered at additional price which we didnt have as were going for lunch. We were on the side of the hotel there is screens in windows as double glazing the actual window didnt shut properly and it was noisy though it city centre so suppose it only expected. We dropped bags off first thing morning and left them again on checking out the following day till ready to go. Would stay again

Well located hotel with noisy neighbours

Hotel is well located right in the middle of Doncaster, close to shops, bars & restaurants. Beautifully appointed inside, comfy room, didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that but there are many alternate breakfast spots close by. The main problem for me was noise. I thought it might be a noisy stay when I noticed complimentary ear plugs helpfully provided by the hotel management. Unfortunately, I wasnt wrong. The karaoke started around 7pm at a bar on the opposite corner and was still going strong at 2am. Add to that the noise of screeching wheels from boy racers and it made for a night of interrupted sleep. Obviously, the noise from the street and the bars is not directly the fault of the hotel. So, I hope they take this as constructive criticism, the hotel needs to invest in some airport hotel style double or triple glazing to keep the noise out and not rely on complimentary ear plugs which quite frankly was a joke.

The room we stayed in was extremely hot as it had no air conditioning and needed updating. The paint was peeling off the walls and the secondary glazing was filthy. The bed was comfortable but it was almost impossible to sleep as the occupants of the room next door of which we heard at least 4 adult voices, came in at 2.30am and proceeded to argue and party until 6.30am. We couldn’t contact reception as there was no phone in the room.
