Je suis très déçue de mon passage au IBIS STYLES Athens, chaîne d'hôtels que j'ai pourtant l'habitude de fréquenter. J'ai trouvé le réceptionnistes de nuit antipathique et pas du tout serviable, le parking très compliqué à trouver (nous avons préféré nous garer dans la rue...) et la chambre très chaude et bruyante (manque d'insonorisation). Je ne recommande pas.

Hôtel agréable, très propre, et très bien placé à cinq minutes à pied d’une station de métro, permettant de rejoindre aisément les principaux sites d’Athènes. Très bon accueil, chambre confortable, équipée de tout le nécessaire, salle de bain spacieuse , et petit déjeuner simple, mais copieux. Un excellent service de la part de toute l’équipe de l’hôtel. Rapport qualité-prix impeccable dans une ville où l’hôtellerie est généralement onéreuse.

Tout d'abord les points positifs de l’hôtel, une bonne literie et un accueil excellent de l'équipe à l'arrivée et tout au long du séjours. La boisson d’accueil pour les membres du club ACCOR est parfaite car variée et accompagnée de chips. L’hôtel est situé à 20' à pieds de Plaka et du Parthénon (d’où les 4 étoiles). Les points négatifs, j'ai eu une chambre sur le boulevard et le bruit de la circulation est très présent (l’hôtel est au pied d'un feu entre 2 boulevards). La circulation s’arrête vers 01h00 du matin pour repartir vers 05h00, les nuits sont donc très courtes surtout quand il y en a 3 à suivre. Si la literie est bonne, l’alèse du lit, en pure plastique, vous fera bien suer la nuit. Le système de lames occultantes était cassé, les vitres sales (mais cela vient du fait que le système est vraiment mal pensé surtout avec la pollution du boulevard), des laies de la tapisserie étaient décollées (au dessus du mur du lit) alors que la chambre avait du être refaite récemment. La chambre est équipée d'une penderie ouverte (en gros une tringle sur un mur), un placard ou même seulement de tablettes permettant de déposer les affaires qui ne peuvent pas être sur cintre devrait être envisagé sérieusement. Le quartier est un vaste garage (ateliers de carrossiers, ateliers pneumatiques, ateliers pare-brise, magasin de pièces motos et autos) donc pas très glamour mais sympa pour un mécanicien auto en voyage à Athènes. Remarque, une personne restant plus d'une nuit devrait obligatoirement avoir une chambre donnant sur le patio intérieur et non sur le boulevard, surtout quand il est membre du programme de fidélité ALL et qu'il vient pour des activités professionnelles.
