Athens Capital Hotel is beautifully designed and has impeccable service. Knowing it was our anniversary they left a dessert, wine and flowers in our room which made us feel extra special!

The hotel staff, from the receptionists, to the doormen, to the restaurant staff, and the cleaners were wonderful. We felt welcomed, taken care of, and everyone we encountered spoke such wonderful English (our Greek was limited and although we tried our best, the staff accommodated us in English) We were there to celebrate a milestone birthday and I was surprised with a wonderful cheesecake and a bottle of Greek wine that was sublime. The hotel itself is modern, pristine clean, and I do mean, pristine. There was no rubbish anywhere! The room was so comfortable and the ability to control the air temperature was appreciated as we were there on April with temperatures reaching 27. I love how you get coffee pods and water each day as well, along with a kettle and tea bags. The bed saved our poor backs after days of trekking around the city. The ability to open the hotel window and allow for fresh air was appreciated. Our stay in the hotel lifted our moods and helped us power through the heat so that we saw what we wanted in Athens. This hotel has gained two members for life.
